Great tech is only as good as it’s perceived to be. Hiding innovation can feel sleek and integrated, but if your users don’t have a tangible contact with your tech then it’s as good as invisible.

The goal with the CONNEXIS Safety Shoe was to visualise the brand’s ‘fasciae effect’ system which fights foot fatigue. This is an important orthopaedic feature which can be individually adjusted to suit each user’s unique needs.

We found a way to integrate the function into the construction; using an adjustability band between the layers of the shoe and clever aesthetics to highlight it to the user. This construction was completely new to the industry, made possible by a super-skill collab between HAIX’s knowhow in leading edge protective footwear and KISKA’s future-forward prowess.
