RIKA is a company with deep roots, just like us. They started in metalworking, but it didn’t take long to find their passion: stoves. First came wood-burning models. Then pellets. Today, RIKA is still owner-operated, still proudly Austrian – and still moving things forward!
But do you stay at the top?
RIKA consistently pushed for technological innovation. Each new stove had something special…but they also needed to stay ahead in terms of physical design. The outside needed to reflect the leading position of the brand. And this couldn’t be a one off, either. It needed to be a long-term partnership.

To hit RIKA’s goals, we needed to dive into their offer. What materials, aesthetics, signatures, construction principles, or corporate tools embody RIKA the best? And how can we boost them? But we couldn’t rush it all at once. Changes took place carefully, lovingly, over several years, to ensure RIKA is seen as warm, emotional, and part of the home.

Take the DOMO stove.
It’s a stellar product that’s been refined over multiple generations — and we’ve had a hand in every one of them. It started with TOPO. We created an edgier, architecturally inspired stove that stood out with bold proportions, an exciting gesture, and technical confidence back in the 2000’s.
Product design isn’t the only trick up our sleeve. Give our communication team some love too.

The next generation.
From there, DOMO I refined the idea. Sleeker. More elegant. Cleaner surfaces brought a new level of sophistication, and the people loved it. It was a major market success for RIKA and a proud moment for our team.
Fast forward to DOMO II.
Launched in 2025, it’s the sleekest expression of the DOMO idea yet. When switched off, the combustion chamber disappears behind coated glass — minimal, neat, and calm. Refined proportions and details. A modern classic, designed not to be redesigned.

Beyond this, we’ve also worked on RIKA’s functional innovations. Like the RIKAair module — intuitive hardware with a rotating ring which controls airflow. Designed to look sharp, feel great, and be easy to use. And it’s all explained in our tutorial animation, making the feature as understandable as it is usable.
Market success is built over time.
RIKA never treated design like decoration. And we never treated it like a one-off. It’s been a back-and-forth from day one; engineers, designers, decision-makers, all in the mix. This partnership has been about consistency. About knowing what matters and making it better, piece by piece, until the whole thing just feels… right.
